My new Web Addy

I think it is kind of hard to remember the address to this blog. So, I went and got the nickname that my friends call me and used that as a website addy. If you ever want to find me in a flash put my new address into your favorites and Im only a click away. My new website that will direct you right to my blog is www.Magalaide.com

Yes, I know it sounds weird but my friends decided to take a version of my first and middle name and combined them. No, Im not telling what my middle name is...but you can try to figure it out and leave me comments on what you think it is:)

My first Website

I learned something new over the past week, Websites are not as easy to make as I thought.

I talked my boss into getting a website for the company. He's very old fashioned and does not like change, so I told him I would pay for and maintain a site for him. Needless to say, he went along with it.

So, I went to Network Solutions and did their 2 week free trial. I put together a site that I thought looked pretty descent for a rookie. Well, he didnt care for it as much as I did. He wanted colors changed where you cant change them and pics added that I couldnt add. I was getting frustrated.

So, over the weekend a friend of mine offered to help build one for me. I thought, great, maybe he can make one that he will approve of because I was beginning to pull my hair out. It has a totally different look and feel to it and he did end up liking it...he only had one graphic he wanted changed and my friend was able to do it...now if it were me, I know I wouldnt have been able to do it and would have told him to kiss my %$#. Ok, maybe I wouldnt have said that, but I would have thought it! lol

Anyway, I just think that making these sites takes a certain talent and a great amount of patience, Neither of which, I have!
