Do you ever wonder why people choose to have either a cat or a dog?
Granted, dogs are a bit more difficult to take care of because you have to make sure your home to take them outside. But isnt it worth it rather than coming home to a smelly cat?
Ok, here is my thoughts, cats seem all sweet to you and purr when they like the way you pet them. But those sneaky little huggers will turn against you on a dime! Maybe not all of them, but it seems a good amount of cats that I have met have an agenda....they just want to strut around thinking they own your home. They jump up on anything and everything and usually wont move unless you physically move them. And when they really dont like you they swat at you and catch you with those damn claws.....tell me again, why do people like cats?
But then there are dogs. Yeah, you have your mean dogs but I think a lot of those dogs are treated bad and caused to become aggressive. People that think you spank a dog when its a pup if it messes in the house is causing it to become angry so when its older it isnt going to take your crap...and it shouldnt. Thats why I have such an issue with people that hit dogs.
It is just so amazing to me how good a dog will make you feel. You come home and they always seem to be waiting at the door for you to make sure you know how happy they are to see you....(hmmm, maybe that isnt why they greet us..maybe its just because they want to go out and potty)! But they lay with you and love to play with you and boy are they the best listeners. You can lay around and tell them anything and they will just listen and not say a word the whole time.
They snuggle and lick your face and just know how to make you feel good. I think dogs are awsome and cats are little devils from hell! Dont get me wrong, I dont HATE cats, but I dont like them very much. They scare me the way they look at you. There is no warmth in their eyes like there is when you look at your doggy.
